Amber Clark12 September 2026Honestly a 10/10 experience and I truly mean that. From the beginning, Jensen was warm and welcoming. He’s super knowledgeable about Vegas/Nevada’s history and we learned so much while also having an insane amount of fun. The loading area was really cool and had so many games to choose from and play with. The ATV trail ride itself was breathtaking and just an overall amazing experience. I was originally planning to book with another company that was a little closer to the Las Vegas Strip. However, a few members of my group became ill, and rather than risk losing money, I decided to wait before making a reservation. By the time we were ready to book, everything was sold out. After doing a Google search, I came across Awesome Adventures. After reading the reviews and doing a little research, I decided to book a tour for our group—and I'm so glad I did. The tour location is about 45 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, so we arrived early just in case we had trouble finding it. Our guide, Alisha, arrived about 30 minutes before the tour began to help everyone complete the necessary waivers and get the ATVs and safety equipment prepared. While we waited, my group decided to try their hand at hatchet throwing, which was a fun bonus activity. Before heading out on the trail, Alisha made sure everyone felt comfortable operating their ATV. Five of the six people in our group were first-time riders, and she took the time to answer questions and build confidence before we started. Throughout our hour-long ride, Alisha took photos and videos of our group and provided them free of charge. I've been on other tours where operators charged a premium for photos, so this was a pleasant surprise and a great value. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Alisha was friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a great time. If you're considering an ATV tour in the Las Vegas area, skip the tours close to the Strip and make the short drive to Nelson, Nevada. Did a private event/tour with about 20 others. Very informed and attentive staff. Definitely wear long sleeves and hydrate before going. Most cell carriers are going to have next to 0 bars out there. Save those cell batteries for pictures/videos. Bring cash for tip since you need data for their cash app to give them anything. The cave tour was a nice break/stop. Recommend razers over ATVs if you've got a back that goes out. They do have wifi but everyone jumping on will crash the router.Posted on Tripadvisor

He was very friendly, well manner, and well knowledgeable from the time he picked us up from the hotel- pickup until the end of our trail ride and back to our drop -off. Megan M5 April 2026Fun day had by all Myself and 3 teenagers did this tour a few days ago to celebrate my son’s 15th birthday. All of us loved every minute! Our tour guide Alisha—was fun, professional and very knowledgeable. She really “read” my kids and understood what would interest them. The “town” was cool to explore and take fun photos. KTP5010 March 2026AWESOME ADVENTURES ATV AND GOLDMINE TOUR. My 17-year-old son and I had a fantastic experience with Awesome Adventures on their ATV tour. Our guide, Dillon, picked us up right at the rideshare area at the Horseshoe Casino, which made the start of the trip really convenient. From there we had about a 40-minute van ride out into the Nevada desert. Once we got to the desert, the ATV tour itself was awesome. Riding through the open desert was an incredible experience—beautiful views, plenty of space to ride, and just a really fun adventure overall. One thing I appreciated was that they organized the riding groups based on experience level. Some people in our group had ridden ATVs before and others had not, and the guides did a great job making sure everyone was comfortable and had a good time. We also did the gold mine tour, which turned out to be another highlight. It was really interesting to learn about the history of the area and see the mine up close. All in all, we had a great time. Everything was well organized, the guides were friendly and professional, and it was an experience my son and I will definitely remember. Even though our hotel wasn't on the pick up list she went out of her way to pick us up and drop us off where we needed to be which she didn't have to do. Catherine H.8 November 2025What an unreal experience! Started off strong, with excellent communication morning of. Our guide Alisha picked us up from Old Vegas and pointed out landmarks and shared fun facts the whole way to Nelson for the tour. All day long she was so knowledgeable and answered every question we had, but also so funny while still being professional! My whole group thought that the value of this tour was exceptional. We walked the grounds, took pictures of the Werly family's decades-long collection of toys and decor, watched an action movie clip filmed on the property, then hit the trails. We're a group of experienced dirt bike/quad riders, but Alisha made sure to put some of the guys in their place and let us know that the ATV ride rules are rules, not suggestions. The views were incredible, we ate a delicious lunch by the Colorado river, then headed back for the gold mine tour. Being from the east coast, this part of US history isn't something we're familiar with, and we learned so much! Even though we had a large group, Alisha made a point to have a one-on-one conversation with every single one of us, which made it very special and personal. She was also an incredible photographer! I think we really got the bang for our buck, and i will definitely be recommending this tour - and Alisha by name - to everyone I know who's planning a Vegas trip in the future.+3Posted on Tripadvisor

Patricia was the best host in terms of history, identifying different markers and genuine enthusiasm for having a great time. The trail was amazing and the scenic surroundings were breathtaking. This tour allows significant time driving ATVs through the desert with a few stops to learn about the area. The lunch was fantastic and there are several games to play, including axe throwing, during the break. The gold mine was really cool to see and we learned a lot about mining. My 16 yo went into a bush and our guide didn't make him feel bad for holding up the line, told him it was ok and got it out quickly. Kiley S.3 August 2025An Unforgettable Birthday Surprise -- Above and Beyond! I originally reached out to Awesome Adventures with a lot of hesitation. I was looking for a surprise birthday adventure for my husband, but I was apprehensive -- he's very tall, and I have a physical disability. Honestly, I didn't expect it to work out. But when I contacted them, Ayde responded quickly and warmly. I explained everything, asked a ton of questions, and without hesitation, she said, "We got you! We can make this happen!" That confidence and kindness convinced me to go ahead and book the Old West Adventure ATV and Gold Mine Tour for July 12th. The morning of the tour, we drove ourselves to the location (we're locals) and were greeted right away. I had also asked Ayde to add on the breakfast option for us -- it was absolutely amazing and more than enough food for both of us. While we ate, our guide Alisha got everything ready. We expected to be in a group, but to our surprise, it ended up being just us, which made the experience even more personal and special. Before we set off, Alisha took the time to carefully explain how to operate the ATV and walked us through what to expect. She was incredibly reassuring, telling us not to worry about keeping up with any pace -- "I only go as fast as you go," she said with a smile. That instantly put us at ease. Alisha's knowledge, experience, and personality are truly unmatched. She was professional, patient, and so personable -- she turned an already special day into something unforgettable. I can't recommend Alisha, Ayde, and the whole Awesome Adventures team enough. They went above and beyond in every way, and we are so grateful for the memories they helped create. Patricia offered to take pics for us, and told us a lot about the area and its history. Jensen was also a great ATV guide, who made safety a priority; yet he still made it super fun. Genesis V.2 October 2024I had the good fortune to come for a second time and have Alisha do the tour this time around. I was a little skeptical since Sherman had done our first tour back in December 2022, but let me tell you she was perfect and how she handled our tour, and giving us views that I didn't get to see last time! I highly recommend this secret little gem that's on the outskirts of Las Vegas to try and go have an adventure! First, you get to take a tour of their city full of stuff to take pictures then you do the ATV tour and lastly, is the gold mine tour to wrap it up. Yes! You get to see some gold in the cave!
